Bubbles Beauty Bar respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, booking service, account features or contact us about an appointment.

Information we collect

When you make or manage a booking, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, selected services, appointment date and time, booking preferences and appointment notes. We also process information connected with client accounts, saved preferences, waitlist requests, reviews and communications with us.

If you use Book With Inspo, we collect the image you choose to upload. It is stored with your booking so authorised Bubbles Beauty Bar staff can review it; it is not made publicly browsable through the booking process.

Why we use your information

We use booking information to create and manage appointments, provide secure booking-management and account access, operate the waitlist, communicate booking updates and reminders, respond to enquiries, maintain service records and support client care.

Email communications

We use your email address to send transactional messages related to your booking, such as confirmations, changes, cancellations, payment requests or receipts, appointment reminders and review requests where applicable.

Payments

Where you choose online payment, card payment is processed by Yoco during checkout. Bubbles Beauty Bar does not collect or store full card details in its booking system. We retain the payment references, amounts and status information needed to manage the booking and payment record.

WhatsApp communications

Where you choose or consent to WhatsApp communications, Bubbles Beauty Bar may use the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API for transactional booking updates. This can involve your telephone number, booking-related message information, message identifiers and delivery status. Incoming WhatsApp messages may also be processed to manage your communication with us. WhatsApp notifications are not used to replace essential booking or payment processes.

Service providers

We use service providers that support our website and booking service, email delivery and online payments. Yoco processes online card payments. Meta provides the WhatsApp Cloud API where WhatsApp communications are used. We share only the information needed for the relevant service.

Cookies and account sessions

Our website uses essential cookies and similar technologies needed for normal website operation. If you create or use a client account, these technologies help keep your account session secure. This policy does not claim use of analytics or advertising tracking that is not described here.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect booking records and limit access to authorised personnel. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy and as otherwise required by applicable law. No fixed retention period is stated here because it may depend on the type of record and the service provided.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to update inaccurate contact or booking information, or ask questions about how your information is handled. You may also choose not to consent to optional WhatsApp communications. Some information may need to be retained where it is necessary to manage an existing booking or meet applicable obligations.
